Negotiations between the Union Negotiating Committee and Overwaitea continued today with the assistance of mediator Mr. Vince Ready.

Mr. Ready has instructed the parties to review their positions, and to report back to him when the Union Negotiating Committee and Overwaitea meet again (with the assistance of Mr. Ready) on Friday, May 30.

The three major issues of wage increases, returning all employees to one wage and benefit grid, and the conversion issue remain outstanding.
